In this game you play as Bert, AKA Detective calm (its not as cool as it sounds). you speak to interdimensional beings (just 1, actually), travel across different dimensions (3d-2d. that's what it means. DR strange not included)  and you save your friends who got lost to a big storm that conveniently happened whilst you were elsewhere. to save them, you must find what used to make them calm (pre-storm. you get it? calm before the storm? alright then) and use it to make them remember who they used to be, before the storm evoked madness upon them. that's practically it.
